Ex situ

Ex situ is a process to protect a species which is endangered, variety off its breeds or animal outside its natural habitat in which it is living. Ex situ management can occur within or outside a species natural geographic range. In this selection they are not remained under natural pressure as in wild population.

In situ

In situ conservation involves the preservation of species and populations of living organisms, in which they are living. This method preserves the population and evolutionary processes that population adapt in their natural state within their normal range.

CRYORESERVATION




There are basically several possible ways to preserve animal genetic resources. One way to preserve the animal genetic materials are preservation by the method off cryo genically.

The materials that are cryogenically preserve sperm, oocytes, embryo and somatic cells.

In coy conservation the facilities that provide cryogenic are called gene banks, and they vary in sizes.
