is the direct manipulation of genes of organisms such as bacteria, plants or vertebrates. Using genetic engineering techniques we can understand the basic process of biology in a way to understand human diseases.

The modified crops has provided great economic benefit to farmers.

By using the applications of genetic engineering we can develop the plants and animals which grow faster than normal ones. It does not only increase the growth speed but also makes the crops resistant to disease.

So using modified crops less amount of chemicals and fertilizers are needed, so the less harm will be done to the environment.

Detrimentations

So it has many benefits it has some negative effects.

The nutritional values of the food developed by genetic engineering is less. This can be seen in poultry.

It can produce natural resistant to pathogens created by genetic engineering. The amount of diversity developed can be less favorable which are produced by genetic engineering.

The advantages and disadvantages of genetic engineering show the result that it can be generally positive or negative, but there must be controls in place to manage the negative when it occurs.
